When should I wash babies clothes ?

I’m 26 weeks Wednesday and was just wondering when I should start washing all the clothes??

I’m waiting until 36-37 weeks.  That way the smaller sizes won’t need rewashing.  I have a weird thing about dust and dust mites though so I don’t like fabrics sitting too long before use.

I’m 29.5 was and just washed all mine. I had my last daughter at 33wks and there’s a chance this baby could be earlier. I didn’t want to be unprepared.

i wash all mine as i get them. i’m more of a germaphobe so I know people have been touching the clothes and don’t want the germs in the nursery. i know it’s a little weird 😅 but they’re all put away so they’ll be fine. i’m 24 weeks btw!

I’m waiting until after I have my shower which will be when I’m 32 weeks. Just Incase people get me clothes and I have duplicates of what I’ve already bought myself, that way I can return what I’ve bought and get my money back and keep what people get me from the shower.

I’ve already washed all of our baby clothes but ours were all second hand. With my first I ripped all the tags off and washed them and I wish I had waited. If you don’t have that much I would do it now so you don’t have to do it later when you’re super uncomfortable but if you don’t mind you can do it whenever. 30-35 weeks is typical.

I think I’m gonna wait till I go into labor.😂 since I’ll do most of the laboring at home it will help pass the time. Hahahaha
