i think i’m in love with my best friend. we’re both 16 and identify at the moment as straight. she is dating a guy rn but she always talks about how she doesn’t know if she’s straight or bi because she has no experience with anyone but guys. i am the same way. i am attracted to very specific girls occasionally but in general i’m more attracted to guys. how do i handle these feelings? i’ve never really had these kinds of feelings for a girl before. i know i can’t really act on them because she’s my best friend and i don’t want to jeopardize our friendship because like duh i want to keep my best friend. but at the same time i want to hold hands with her and kiss her and go out on a date with her. i’m sure other people in this chat have had similar experiences so i’m all ears. if anyone has any suggestions on how to either get over this or handle hear feelings in a productive way that won’t ruin our friendship please let me know or share your experiences!!!
