More than likely the ring is plated with rhodium that is now wearing off. Same thing happened to mine and my husband’s wedding rings. You can slow the process by avoiding exposing it to water, soaps & chemicals, etc, or take it to a jeweller to have it replated.

White Gold is not a natural metal like yellow gold. It’s yellow gold mixed with rhodium. So periodically it has to be “dipped” to prevent the yellowing of the metal.

How long has it been since you got it? It could be that it needs redipped. If the color under your diamond is not the bright white you’d get with white gold, it’s going to make the color of your diamond look different as well because of the way the light reflects. You might take it in to your jeweler and have them check it out.
