Demotion for being pregnant?
I work at a bar/ restaurant in Colorado (not sure if it makes a difference) I've been working there for almost 2 years. It took me a year and a half to work my way up to a position in bar.
I'm 12 weeks pregnant today and they found out as soon as I did because I had horrible morning sickness and had to call off work for about 2 weeks. When I got back I still had a shift in the bar which is less than my normal 3, but I only had 3 days scheduled anyway because I'm trying to take it easy. My manager told my boyfriend (who also works there) that I won't be able to be in bar much longer because the bar guys don't like it.. Then my other manager told me that it doesn't really work because it's a tight space, so I'm like okay that makes sense... Whatever.
Today, I am not even showing an I got my schedule, completely taken out of bar, is this legal?! It's a substantial pay decrease.
