Do you think it’s acceptable to say u hope someone dies?

So I know a girl who’s quite frankly, a total bitch. The kind of person who’ll say she’ll help you out but shit talk about you to someone else cause she had to help out. I try to keep my interactions with her at a minimum but when we’ve hung out before she bitches about some new person who got on her nerves and says “ugh mejor que are muera” (it’s better if they just died) or something along those lines. I tell her to stop saying stuff like that but she doesn’t think it’s a big deal. Would u/have U ever said that about people?
