Any dentists? HELP PLEASE!!!

So last Tuesday I went in to have 3 fillings placed. 1 on my front tooth, and 1 on both my right and left back molars. Immediately after the numbing wore off I noticed that my front tooth was hitting my bottom tooth so I made an appointment the next day to have it filed down. It has been almost a week now and since that appointment the 2 fillings in the back of my mouth have been giving me the worst headaches I have ever had. The fillings themselves don’t feel sore but my teeth in the top that touch them when I bite down are incredibly sensitive. I’ve called my dentist to ask for a bite adjustment but I can’t tell (other than my headaches and sore mouth) if that is what is wrong. Any insight? Is that the likely culprit?

I'm not an actual dentist, but I worked in a dental office for many years. With some fillings you can still need a root canal if they drilled too deep or if the decay was too far down. It is also very common to be sensitive for up to 4 weeks after having fillings, especially if they were large ones. It depends what kind of fillings you had and how big they were, but I would get in to see them immediately because you may end up needing a root canal. You can also try Sensodyne toothpaste and don't rinse your mouth after using it so that it stays on your teeth and gums longer to soothe the pain a little.
