Do you’ll give your baby gripe water if your baby won’t stop crying?

When my baby will not stop crying no matter what, I will give her gripe water. I’ve done this 2 times already and it has stopped her crying. Does anyone else do this?

I do this, but it doesn't stop the crying it works for hiccups stops them instantly thats about it.

I use it as a last resort. Once she’s changed, swaddled, pacifier in (and spitting out), and snuggled up to me if she’s crying it’s usually gas so we use gripe water for her! It worked a miracle last night when I could hear her tummy grumbling and feel some powerful farts. She was so miserable and within an hour she was asleep and ready to be put down for bed!

Yup. My girl has a terrible witching hour at night plus a pretty nasty gas problem. So once it gets to the point that she won’t settle for anything and we need some relief, we’ll give her gripe.

🙋🏽‍♀️ we will only give her gripe water if shes screaming her head off and won't calm down. She usually settles after a but with it as well.
