Scheduled c-section if dilated?

So I have a c-section scheduled in two weeks, tomorrow I have an appt and assuming I’ll be checked to see if I’m dilated at all.
My question is if I’m dilated will they automatically admit me for a c-section or even just to have the baby naturally?

I'm scheduled for a c-section and my doctor told me even if I was dilated to a 5 she can't do it any earlier unless I'm in active labor.

Not usually. They would just wait to see if you went into labor before the c section is scheduled.

Are you high risk? How far along are you? Dilation does not really mean much honestly. I was dilated 2 cm at 26 weeks and didn’t have my baby until 38 weeks. They most likely won’t do anything if you are dilated unless you’re past your due date or high risk 😊
