Would y’all consider this a good starter home. Keep in mind that I have NO MONEY to fix this up what so ever, the fridge is in a whole different room than the stove and it’s in a horrible city that has a lot of violence and drugs more than likely this is the ghetto (IM personally not above it I grew up with this environment but i never saw myself raising a child in it) it’s just me and my soon to be kid,

Background to that, I’m homeless not for the lack of trying but a lot of stuff happened all at once and my life went to shit, my guardian “dad” who’s was good for nothing all my life has finally decided to “step up” and is trying to offer me this place, I want to be grateful for it, I swear, but in all honesty I feel like I deserve better, I went from being in a nice apartment me and my bestfriend, to downgrading because she got us evicted, then to downgrading again to homeless bc my next roommate got me evicted (bad choice I know) anyway I just feel if he’s going to help which he keeps saying he is (dk how long that would last) it would make more sense to get a nice apartment for the same price that he’s offering to help with and something I can manage once I’m on my feet plus something safe to raise a kid and something I’m comfortable with that I don’t have to play fixer upper, I can’t afford to take care of a home, especially one that’s already off to a bad start and in a horrible city as I said, and all the jobs that I’ve recently interviewed for are no where near this place so itd be a punch in the gut again. Anyway please give me honest opinion, I know I sound as if I’m too good, I just never thought id fall this far back and then have to rely on the one person who takes advantage of everything.
