Baby shower too early ?

I’m currently 16 weeks pregnant. I wanted to have a gender reveal party Nd my sister wants to throw it but she also wants to combined it with the baby shower. The plan was to have the gender reveal in 2 weeks (aug11) isn’t that too early to have the shower? I’ll only be 18 weeks pregnant and I’m barely showing now...  I’m not trying to wait till I’m 7months pregnant to know what I’m having but I also don’t want my shower too early🤦🏽‍♀️

Just have a small immediate family/close friends for gender reveal. And a real shower later on. I personally would wait and do them separate

That lame!!!! A gender reveal can just be small nobody even really bring gifts so a small get together would be great. I say have it separate just have a small gender reveal and a big baby shower and plus how are they gonna know what to buy if they dont know the gender yet???

I guess it depends on if you want all gender neutral gifts or gifts geared toward baby’s gender. If it’s combined with the reveal, everything will be gender neutral.

I wish mine was early. I was over being pregnant and exhausted when mine happened. It was miserable

Not too early. I had mine at 17 weeks because it’s what worked for me, and I’m not showing a ton.
