Husband doesn't care as much?

To start off our relationship has always been opposite I have always been the one who wants to make love more than him. He says he wants a baby and we started trying in August but now I feel like he isn't trying hard enough...we didn't do anything either of the days I was ovulating this month and I get so upset I just want a baby so bad. I want to start a family with him so desperately and it really hurts feeling like he isn't trying hard enough I just don't know what to do...😞 He says if he doesn't feel like I should just drop it...😞

My husband is the same way. He wants us to have a family too but his sex drive is just lacking. Mine is in the army, which can be a very stressful and strenuous job, and I think that is big cause for it. Sometimes he wants in every day, and then he'll go a week or two not wanting it at all. And it never fails he never wants to when I'm ovulating. I've decided to just let nature takes it course. I try to do little things that I know turns him on instead of being like ok, the OPK is positive time to have sex. I think it's a big turn off for him when he knows I only want it because I'm ovulating. It's turned into just another job for him and it's not appealing.

Men are so different than woman and their priorities seem different. You could be worried about a million things and they could be thinking about who will win a game. I think if your serious about having a child both people need to be on the same page. It would be best to have a long.... Heart to heart talk about what the future holds. Be reasonable is to what you expect out of your partner. When your trying for a child neither party should be stressed. I know your timing when you ovulate and other things, but make things fun. Set the "mood". It's a lot trying for a child and it's something new for the both of you. You never know he could be scared or worried.

I think explaining to him that you only have that small window of opportunity each month helps!

My hubby was exactly the same until I showed and explained that I only have 2-5 days of opportunity and when the time is right we need to try even if we are tired etc!

It helped him understand a bit more I think and he put more effort in!
