So my birthing experience wasn't perfect and didnt go how I expected. I went over a week with my pregnancy bc babygirl just DID NOT wanna come out. I got scheduled for an induction at 3 am. We went in and right away the admitting staff were rude. Like I understand early morning shifts and all but really? I get taken to my room and they get me all ready. They took a few viles of blood, and got my IV hooked up in my elbow crease at the time.They put me on pitocin. I felt NOTHING. I did everything they told me to help speed it up. About 8 hours or so later I was only 3 cm. I figured it would be slow. They put me on a higher dosage and had me walk around the hospital a few times. I walked until I was tired. They woke me up a 3 hours later and I was at 4 cm. By that time my fiance, inlaws, their kids, my aunt, and stepdad were ALL in the room. I didnt wanna kick them out though? Im not like that .. But there were sooo many people that wanted to be there and keep in mind they hate each other 🙄. Negativity EVERYWHERE. 4 more hours go by and the doctor was upset bc I was still at 4 cm. So they told me they were going to open my cervix manually. Then next thing you know I felt this HORRIBLE pain and they said they inflated a balloon between my cervix. THEY DIDNT SAY THAT THOUGH. I had to leave that in until it deflated. Now im shaking, in pain, and still not feeling contractions. Nothing. Fast forward again 4 hours later, I decide to take the balloon thing out .. they check me, annnnd Im at 6 cm. They said you have 3 hrs then were doing a csection. I didnt even THINK about having one. At this point I was feeling contractions so I said to give me the epidural now WHICH stopped my labour progress completely. I said screw it and went for csection. baby was stressed, I was hurting already, and my body was acting funny to the epidural. So they get me ready and head to the OR. They asked if I could feel anything and the whole time they were pinching me I could. They started cutting and I threw up amd started balling bc i felt EVERYTHING. They put me out. I bled too much and had 2 blood transfusions. I woke up thinking I was dead lmao. On top of that they ripped my IV out TWICE. But Babygirl was healthy, and stayed with me the whole 3 days. I recovered well. and im blessed to this day to have her❤
