I don't think my doctor is normal.

Has anyone else had issues with their doctor not wanting to help then with yeast infections while pregnant? I'm 27 weeks pregnant and I've had roughly 6 to 7 yeast infections. I finally broke down and asked my doctor for help, I've been treating myself over the corner. She told me to stop treating myself. She told me no treatment at all because the infection won't hurt the baby, which is great news considering I've had so many BUT I would love to have some relief. No matter what I asked, her answer was the same. "Will the infection cure itself if I don't treat it?" "It won't hurt the baby" " is there something I can use to get some relief?" "It won't hurt the baby" "I read an article about putting Apple cider vinegar in the bath and it's suppose to help" "it won't hurt the baby" "so there's nothing at all I can do to feel better?" "It won't hurt the baby". At this point im so aggravated that I stop even trying to talk to her about it. Anyone that has had a yeast infection knows that just not treating it sounds like torture. It's impossible to sleep. I can feel my heartbeat in my vag and omg I want to slid my bum across the floor like a dog!! How in gods name could not treating it ever Be an option? I know monistat is safe during pregnancy... How is there not something better or at the very least let me continue to treat myself. Has anyone else dealt with this???
