Ingrown hair in pubic area?

So I had these bumps that’s been persisting for several months now due to shaving/waxing at my pubic area. It’s quite annoying that they are not going away...any tips? My gyno said I can go to a dermatologist and they’ll be able to take them out, but it’s even embarrassing to think of calling the doc’s office and that’s my reason of visit😂

Anybody have similar problems and what did you guys do?
