Some Context:

The previous post may be moved/removed since it was posted anonymously, so for quick background the situation is this: a couple with unexplained infertility, both want a baby but he is against the use of any fertility drugs, while she wants to try the fertility drugs and considered taking them behind his back. - Pretty much all the responses said she should not keep secrets from her husband.

My Question:

Would your opinion change if the secret was about birth control instead of fertility drugs?

Say the couple both agree that they do not want children. He doesn’t want her to take birth control or get an implant or anything because he’s afraid of potential side effects for her, but he also won’t use condoms. He thinks the “pull-out” method and cycle tracking is good enough to prevent pregnancy. She doesn’t think that’s enough and wants to better protect herself. Would it be wrong for her to take birth control behind his back?

Question: Is it ok for a woman to take medication and keep it a secret from her husband? (Assuming both partners agree on wanting/not wanting children at that time)

1. Taking Fertility drugs in secret would be wrong but secret Birth Control is ok.
