June 15 2018 I had greenish discharged I thought was normal (it wasn’t) then Father’s Day/my mother’s birthday I still had the discharge but I was already so over being pregnant so I drank midwives brew and ate “the labor salad” from this place in la and hoped it would work no contractions or anything just continuously leaking (by the end it was so hard to hold my pee for more than .2 seconds) the 17th came and I just kept doing anything I could to bring in contractions but nothing was working that night I had this random pain in my lower left side and I thought it was possibly a cyst that burst (I had 3 burst while pregnant) so I went in to be seen and everything was fine, towards the end I mentioned the leaking and greenish discharge to the nurse more so of just complaining about pregnancy and how I’m ready for it to be over, she asked how long I’ve been leaking that stuff I told her about 3 days and she decided to check me for a tear in my amniotic sack. Well she came back few minutes later and said my water ruptured and it’s time to deliver. My baby sister was with me at the time because we were going to go for a late night Denny’s date (it was 12:20) she looked at me and then the nurse and said aooo no dennnys? Haha she called my mom to let her know and I called my husband  and specifically told him relax don’t rush it’s gonna be a while I was one at a 1cm  and My contractions still felt like Braxton Hicks we get admitted at 1:30 by 3 am I was at a 2.5 and they wanted to start patosin since my little baby pooped in his bag I ask for the epidural before they start the patosin because I heard horror stories of it I did 100% natural with my first I was tired and I wanted to see how it was to give birth with no pain like how we see on tv. So I get it and once I’m done theybadd the patosin well.. IY DIDNT WORK I felt everything for almost 2 hours and I couldn’t move either because a nerve was hit.. after the two hours and the numbing worked I relaxed and slept for a while at 5:48 my nurse came in to check me and i was at a 7 she left for a second and I felt a pop I called her in and she checked my and I was at an 8 she documented it on the computer and I told her I have to push. I feel a lot of pressure she joked around with me and said no I’ve had her check me 5x in an hour if I want her number I can just ask haha (she was a great nurse) I call my husband to the side of the bed and tell him lift me leg and help me move I need to push the nurse said fine we can do a practice push if that will make me feel better. I do one little push not even a full 2 coins and she says stop the head is crowning and I tell her I can’t I really have to push. She said “Desiree don’t you even try because I do not want to do that paper work” she starts calling the dr and I try to sneak in a push so THE NURSE GRABS MY LWGA AND CROSS THEM. She crossed my damn legs soo I couldn’t push. The dr comes in a few seconds later and my husband gets my legs back up for me and I tell my sister to put the mirror down there so I can see she positioned it perfectly and I jokingly rolled my eyes and asked if I can push now and the dr says go for it I push for 20 seconds and my baby boy Roman Reign was welcomed into the world at 5:53pm June 18th and purple as a plum but breathing and weighing a great 7.12
