My husband and I have been together for 9 years, married for 1. We’ve only been having sex the last 2 years due to lots of external factors, mainly we were young and doing long distance.

Our sex life used to be amazing, we would always mix it up and try new things.

But since we’ve been married, he’s admitted that he’s submissive and has stopped initiating sex entirely.

I feel like I’m failing at being a good wife because I just can’t get behind being in charge all the time. I’ve never been a dominant person and I feel super awkward doing it.

I like to be dominated as well, and I can’t get off otherwise. But he won’t take control, even when I ask (which defeats the purpose if you ask me).

So I feel like no matter what, someone’s missing out in our sex life. And I feel a little betrayed because I told him what I preferred in bed a long time ago, but he’s just sprung this on me when we were already married.

Feeling a bit lost, and very frustrated.
