Regardless of staying home or working outside the home I’m going to be involved in bills and expenses. I’m not going to blindly let someone else take care of everything.

I stay at home with our son. Once all our kids (if we’re blessed with a second or third baby) are in school I’d like to go back to work or get more schooling done and start a new career.
But for right now we (my husband and I) both agree we want one of us at home 100% of the time with the kids before they enter all day school. We’d also like one of us to be home when they get home from school, but we’ll take that as we go 😅

No I wouldn’t. While I love being a mother to my two babies I absolutely find what I do to be extremely rewarding and it’s part of who I am. I also am a very Community oriented person and would prefer the balance of doing both.

I was given that option. 
It was the hardest decision I ever made because I Loved my job so much. 
I decided to stay home. It’s been two years now. I’m thinking of going back next fall when she starts preschool.

Yes!!! A million times. I want to raise my children. Working hours are long, I can’t imagine putting my babies in daycare that long. (I worked in daycares also so it’s a hard no). Assuming you’d be apart of finances but he’s the spouse making money.

Well I am a stay at home mom now. He makes the money but doesn’t handle it lol. I do our budget and make sure bills are paid on time. He sucks with money management. We both have all access to every account so he sees how much is coming and going, just as I do.

Absolutely not. I wouldn’t be happy if I wasn’t contributing to the household. I’d feel like my education and experience in my career would have been for nothing. I’d never be happy, nor would I feel fulfilled if all I did was take care of a house and kids. I need to be productive, successful and accomplished in my life and I don’t feel I can do that without my career.

My boyfriend works and I stay at home but we have a joint bank account so I take care of the bills and whatever else we need. I wouldn't be comfortable if we didn't have equal access to the money.

Yes. I have been working for a long time. I’ve always wanted to be a stay at home mom. Now that I am pregnant I am looking forward to it. We are blessed to be in a position where we can do that. It’s pretty common in my culture as well
