Raspberry Leaf tea?

Tell me your experience. Did it have an affect on your body? Or just an old wives tale? 
I’m being induced in little over a week, but trying to go more natural route. Last appt the Dr said I was soft but not really dilated. 
My husband doesn’t want sex, so I have been walking and trying everything.

It's only meant to strengthen your uterus to make contractions stronger, nothing else. Drinking it for a week might not do anything but it's not going to hurt to try.

I drank it like my whole last trimester- by the end of just brew a pitcher of it
 
And my labor was longggggg- 24 hours. But I will tell you, my DELIVERY..was maybe 10 minutes. I pushed like 4 times and baby girl was out. It was so quick, it was crazy. 
My nurse that delivered her even had a conversation with me about how it likely helped my delivery go so smoothly. 🤷🏼‍♀️ so idk- if I had another kid I’d drink it again, honestly.

I’ve been drinking red raspberry leaf tea since trying to conceive, so for about 7 years. I drank it all throughout my last pregnancy and all throughout this one as well (35weeks). It does not induce or cause contractions. It’s great for uterine health. Strengthens the uterus so that contractions are effective during actual labor. It also helps regulate hormones. You get the best benefits from long term use. Drinking a few cups at the end of pregnancy isn’t going to do anything. My first birth was uncomplicated, unmedicated 14 hrs, I pushed for maybe 20min/ 6 pushes. Contractions were very effective :)

It doesn’t help your contract but it does help strength your uterus and help labour go smoother I used it with my second and labour went so fast and contractions didn’t hurt nearly as bad as my first and only got bad the last 20mins of labour!

I drank raspberry leaf tea within the last two weeks of my pregnancy. Personally it made me feel a little sick but it did encourage Braxton Hicks!
