I'm the step mom of my best friends son.

So I know it sounds crazy but yes you read it correctly I am the Stepmom of my best friend's son. I started dating my fiance 3 years ago at that point he had already had a child with my best friend who at the time wasn't my best friend. After they broke up he and I got together maybe a year after we had been talking for months before we even made it official. We waited to make it official because we hit a few bumps in the road between myself and the mother of his child who is now my best friend. Once she and I settled our differences and figured everything out we actually sat down and got to talkin and realize that we actually like each other so from then on we began hanging out together we do family events together we just became the best of friends and it was so much easier getting closer with her than fighting with her. I know things like this don't always happen but I'm so blessed to have her as my best friend and to be able to be in her son's life and to treat him and love him as my own now. She's in her own relationship I feel like we're just one big happy family. I know a lot of you are probably thinking like you couldn't date the same guy that your best friend dated cuz now you know your friend knows how your soon-to-be husband sex is but at first I'm not going to lie it did bother me a little bit but not anymore I mean I love him and I'm not going to let something like that get in the way of us getting married I know he loves me and the sex that they had is in the past everything is great.

P.s. I normally don't refer to him as my stepson or my best friend's son I literally just have gotten so used to calling him my son but for the sake of this post I titled him as my stepson
