Is 16 weeks too early to tell?

I'm soo impatient and I want to know already what I'm having! Do you ladies think 16 weeks is too early to schedule an ultrasound to find out if I'm having a boy or girl?  
I need opinions!

I found out with a 2D at 15w2d, I'm now 21 weeks and he is still a boy! Lol​

I just found out at 16 weeks exactly by a private ultrasound! They can tell sooner than 16 weeks actually if the baby cooperates!

I had a 2D private scan at 16w1d and they could see! It was confirmed at my 20 week scan with my OBGYN. Go early! I couldn't wait either!

I had a scan today.. Exactly 16 weeks today with twins... My babies wouldn't stay still enough for him to see clearly. It all depends on the baby and the experience of the technition.

With a regular 2d ultrasound it may be too early to tell.  By 18 weeks they can tell on a 2d ultrasound as long as baby cooperates.

I have one scheduled at 16+5! I'm going through a local private place that does the 3D ones. Then I'll have my normal Dr scan at 20w. According to the site for the private place, they can find gender as soon as 16w!
