"Period" and pregnant?

So I have heard of some ladies getting a "period" esrly on in their pregnancy, have you or zomeone you know had that? I know it is more uncommon than just spotting, but has anyone had a heavier flow for a shorter period of time and gone on to still be pregnant? **I had gotten a faint positive when I was 2 days late, then started medium bleeding the next day, then heavy-ish bleeding for one day with no clots, a day of light, and then spotting on day 4 and it was gone completely the next day. Usually mine are 5-6 days now with extremely bad cramps, this time I had absolutely no cramps at all and every night the bleeding would almost completely stop until later into the next morning. I have also been getting weird pinching/twitchy feelings in my right ovary and been having morning sickness kinda bad

I have an appt. with my gyno next tuesday to go see why my periods are being weird...is is possible I could be pregnant or could it have just been a chemical?
