Clingy?

Question

Anyone else’s baby super clingy? If I’m in the room, my daughter only wants to be with me, not even my husband. I’m not sure if this is because we are still breastfeeding? She’s clingy regardless of hunger. Leaving her for work in the morning breaks my heart as she starts to have a fit 😖

Right around now they learn that they are their own human. Before babe thought you and her/him where the same thing. They know we can walk away and not come back. It makes them sad to see distance between the two of you because they know..."Gee, that is farther away...you can't get me from over there." 
Also, they are going to through a leap. And every leap they learn more and more about how they are people. They start to have nightmares, they understand distance, they want your attention, they get jealous. There is just so so much going on for those little babies right now. 😭 
Good luck mama! Give lots of snuggles! Maybe take baby with you in the other room. Can you wear babe? I read somewhere explaining that you will be right back and actually sitting down with baby after a task helps them learn "Moma leaves, but always returns." 
So maybe say "Mama's going to get water be right back." Then come immediately back to her and say "See! I'm back!" Instead of going to get water and then sitting on the couch while husband plays with babe. Also! Playing peek-a-boo helps with object permanence. When babe can't see you, you don't exist. So playing peek-a-boo will teach her that even if she can't see you, you are always there! ❤ Good luck!! I hope this helps a little!

🙋🏼‍♀️ my LO has always been a bit of a momma’s girl but lately she won’t even let daddy play or comfort her, it has to be me. The struggle is real, it’s exhausting not ever getting a break 😭 
It’s also hard for my husband to feel like his own daughter doesn’t even like him. If you find anything that helps do share!

Story of my life! It has been worse the last few weeks. I can’t do anything without him attached to me or crawling behind me.

My little one has been. Everytime I sit on the floor she has to stand on me. The only time it bothers me is when I'm using the potty and have to wipe cause she's RIGHT there.

Yes my daughter is this way! She’s getting to where she won’t even let her dad or grandparents watch her she has to have her mommy. But she’s been like this since she was born my husband use to work nights and sleep all most of the day so she got use to me.

Same here. He started waking up every 3 hours again at night. I bet he just checks if I am still there. However, I feel so drained because of this. I know it is hard on him but I often cannot enjoy his presence because I am just so tired 😢
