Feeling bad for formula feeding

My LO is 9 days old and has been only formula fed since birth. I didn’t try to bf in the hospital bc I had my nipple rings in and they were crusty and I wasn’t wanting him to eat crust or anything (...tmi sorry lol) but he was a month early so I just hadn’t taken them out quite yet since I was gonna do it later.

Anyone else ever felt guilty for it?? I feed him

Similac pro advance and pedi said since he’s been ff for over a week threes really no need now to get him
