Losing goal weight counting macros. What’s next? PLEASE HELP!!!
I hardly post on here so I’m not sure if I’ll even get any responses. So I’ve been on my fitness journey for about 5 months now. I’ve lost 22 pounds I’m now 152 pounds but my goal is to lose 30. And I want to be under 150 pounds. I’ve been going to the gym 5 times a week and I would say I lift pretty heavy, for muscle growth and I run 3 times a week. So far I’m happy with my progress. I’ve lost some fat (had 2 kids so I still have some extra skin) and I’ve definitely gained muscle. I also want to get rid of the extra belly fat. So for my macros, I’ve been on a calorie deficit but when I hit my goal weight I’m going to switch to count macros to maintain my weight. I’m obviously going to be eating more and I’m planning to workout the same way I do, again for muscle growth. I’m kinda worried about this because I feel like I’m going to gain weight and I’m going to be unhappy with my weight and probably go back to a calorie deficit. Should I lose more weight maybe hit 140 pounds? (I’m 145) I love lifting and I want to see more muscle gains. I don’t know where to go from here I’m stuck. I desperately need some advice! Please tell me what you guys think.
