Long story short, I think.... I apologize in advance if it's not, LOL. My husband and I purchased our brand new home last year. Well a few months after purchasing our home I became unemployed for 5 months. During this time my husband took care of everything!! My mom asked me for money (60$) to help with auditions for my niece while they were there already at auditions. I told her I didn't have money and left it at that. Then later that day she asked me to ask my husband if he had it🤦🏾‍♀️ I thought that was very selfish of them to ask that knowing I wasn't working. But anyway, he wired the money to them. FF>> She's been asking for money frequently and it's always over 100 OR she'll ask for whatever I can give. While on vacation I got a call from my mom upset in tears because she didn't have money. Then later Sunday evening my sister (unemployed) tells me not to tell my mom, but they don't have food. So my husband and I bought them $90 in groceries and not to mention I gave my mom $50 when she called me while we were on vacation/ anniversary.

FYI- My mom has a FT job, Stepdad FT job, Grandfather gets social security & my sister hasn't worked since she lost my nephew 2 months and during the pregnancy. Im venting here because other than my husband I don't want family involved

Well now I have been digging in my savings and it's causing financial stress as my husband and I have goals in life.
