9wks 2 days, measuring smaller?

The u/s isn’t great as the image is reversed - my bladder is on the left and baby on the right. I am supposed to be 9/2 but measuring smaller according to a midwife, but she could only tell me “7 or 8 weeks”. 🙄 I’m having another one done tomorrow morning bc of the confusion and stress that my baby could be 2 weeks too small. I am 100% sure on how far along I am bc of tracking. There WAS a heartbeat also but she couldn’t tell me the rate. How big does my baby look?

Update: today’s u/s measures baby at 8w5d, heartrate 171

2 weeks behind isn't really a big deal when you factor in implantation. My daughter was exactly 2 weeks behind. As long as there was a heartbeat theres nothing to stress about.

Early ultrasounds are pretty accurate (at 9 weeks typically within a few days). This does look to be closer to 7 weeks or so than 9. I would say if heart rate is there and good chances are despite your tracking conception happened later than you think.

My fertility doctor told me it’s all up to the embryo on how fast it develops so even if it’s a little behind it will catch up.

Definitely looks to me to be closer to the 7 week mark from this photo but it could just be a bad angle. Try not to stress until they can give you more info tomorrow.
