Mini pill?

Hey friends, I am 6.5 weeks pp and I believe I started my period last night. I have been on the mini pill for 5 days now. Is this normal?  Is it caused by the pill? Or just what my body is doing?  With my daughter my period did not come back until 12 months pp and with my other son 14 months pp. Any insight would be appreciated 😀

Apparently minipill takes 7-14 days to kick in, so your period may have come during this time.

I saw this post earlier and am coming back to it now. So weird I am on day 5 of the mini pill as well and started bleeding tonight too! I read that spotting is very common the first few months. I took it for 4 months with my older daughter and didn’t get a period til I stopped it though. So weird. I was hoping I would have several more months before this happened!!!

I was on the mini pill after I had my daughter and never got my period. So maybe it’s just your body
