What are your best tricks to getting nb down at night time feeds?

It seems once my little one wakes up at night it takes about an hour start to finish to get him fed and changed and to sleep most of the time it’s me trying to get him to fall asleep. What’s your best tricks that have helped you guys?

I follow the “dream feeding” method so I make sure to only turn on a nightlight for feedings and I leave the sound machine on. I also make sure to have everything I’ll need for feedings next to the rocking chair so it’s very minimal movement. I start out by changing her and it helps to wake her up enough to feed and then we feed in the rocking chair until she spits my nipple out or falls asleep. I burp her gently then swaddle her and put her in the crib and turn the nightlight back off. 5/10 times this works. When it doesn’t my boyfriend will rock her to sleep and then lay her down or we will let her have a pacifier long enough to soothe her. I don’t think she knows the difference in nights/dats yet, BUT she loves to sleep so I’m very fortunate.

My daughter only fully wakes up when I change her, so I feed half her bottle, then change her, and then feed the other half to make her sleepy again. I also don't turn on the lights and I make sure if my husband is awake that he keeps his voice down until she's back to sleep. It works pretty well for us, and if she does stay awake she's not usually fussy just chilling in her crib.

Our routine usually consists of a diaper change first because this wakes up baby, then we feed from one breast (until baby lets go or falls asleep) we then burp lightly, feed from the other side, burp then I put him down in the bassinet. 
We usually have the tv on low, but no lights on. We don’t want to make it super dark/ quiet so he won’t be able to sleep through noise later on.

So I noticed with my guy, changing between feedings doesn’t work. When I did that he fully woke up and took forever to go back down. So I change him as soon as he wakes up before we nurse. I reswaddle him and do a double swaddle. I use a muslin swaddle first followed by a Velcro swaddle. I keep the room dark, don’t give him a lot of attention, and play white noise. I also let him fall asleep while burping and wait 20-22 minutes before transferring him into his bassinet. I use a heating pad in his bassinet to warm it while I nurse. I take it out before I put him in.

Try not changing them every time. It really wakes them up. I know it seems tough, but most diapers are designed to hold all night and once baby is sleeping longer it's not like you will be waking them to change their diaper. I do change maybe once when extra full or poopy. It helps keep baby in a deeper sleep.

My husband has this trick he calls "20 minutes to lights out" where he gets her fed, changed, puts her in her swaddle, gets her acquainted with her pacifier -since she spits it out half the time- puts on a sound machine and just holds her. Foolproof for ours at 3 weeks old.

The only light I turn on is the salt lamp on her changing table. I have her feed on one side... change her, burp her, reswaddle... feed on second side.. lightly burp but don’t force it and put her back in bassinet still asleep.. has worked like a charm

This doesn’t always work bc my daughter is a bum and will stay up too but usually if I change her first than feed her she’s out.
