Discrimination LONG

Noot

I just got completely and utterly discriminated against. I went for a hydrotherapy session in the pool, as I do weekly. Started out well, went down the ramp into the pool and did my leg lifts and pulses. Did some squats and stepups. Then got to the freestyle in my program (physio made) so started swimming. I made sure to go to a part of the pool where nobody else was so I was out of the way.

After two tiny laps, then heard "excuse me". The lifeguard decided that I wasn't allowed to swim in the therapy pool.

Due to my disability, my ankle rolls, so the ladder to the lap pool is dangerous, putting me at risk of breaking my ankle. Some days I try to use it but I'm so fatigued after swimming I can't even climb out of the pool.

There is a sign saying passive exercise only but if I adhere, I'm never going to swim.

I was swimming there because of my freaking DISABILITY! So yeah, I'm mad.
