Any body baby super alert at 2 months?

My baby boy keeps his head up stronger and he sees everything his eyes follows me around the room and he smiles when I make funny faces. He’s already trying to lift his self when he’s laying down or sitting on my lap. He’s only 2 months. Anybody baby super alert at this time?
