Can't decide if I started AF!

So I never thought I'd be in this position,... My first period after losing a chemical has pregnancy has been WEIRD to the point where I can't decide if I have started or not. I have been spotting brown CM turned almost black discharge. It's hardly enough to justify a pad, I'd be wearing a liner if I wasn't nervous about starting full force at work. Should I be concerned? AF was due 10/2 which is when the light brown CM started.
