When to announce the big news

I was wondering ... how long do I have to wait to tell everyone. Is it 3 months to be on the safe side?

There isn't a time frame you have to wait, me and my husband waited till after 12 weeks, but I know people who have announced at like 8 or 9 weeks too

We didn't announce til we passed the 14 week mark. That's when the risk of miscarriage goes down

There is no rule.  You share the news whenever you feel comfortable.  I tell once my morning sickness hits because it's impossible to hide my misery and that's at 6 weeks exactly.  My friend won't tell anybody until she's like 16 weeks though.  So tell when you want to!  😊

You don't have to wait; you can tell everyone as soon as you're ready! 😊
Many people choose to wait until they reach the point of viability, which is at 12 weeks gestation.  At this time, the baby is considered a fetus and the chance of miscarriage is reduced significantly.
Again, when you decide to tell your loved ones is YOUR choice (and of course your partner's).  Congratulations!!

We told family/close friends the day we had our first appointment. Everyone else we told after 13w

I think so. We have told immediate family only plus a few good friends. We will tell everyone else Around 3 months. I have an appt with my ob at 11 weeks so as long as that is great then we will tell everyone else
