Is your baby still struggling to poop?

My baby is 6 weeks old, she used to grunt when she pooped. Now it seems like it just comes out with ease and she doesn’t struggle or make any noises. Since then she’s filling up poop diapers a lot more often. She did increase her food intake by half an oz. My mom said it wasn’t normal, that babies are still struggling at this age. Just wondering if any other moms noticed their babies straining easing up.

My boy is almost 7 weeks and still pushes ridiculously hard! Doctor says he’s not relaxing his butt hole when he poops!

My baby never used to strain and now hes straining and unable to poop. Hes 6 weeks. Going on 24 hrs since the last one. I think its not normal for them to strain. I feel so bad for my little guy.

Oh I hope my LO's straining eases up soon!! He's 5 weeks now and still strains since 4 am. But throughout the day he's gotten so mucjh better at pooping, and when he actually poos he doesn't strain at all. Fingers crossed!!

My baby hasn’t strained in weeks. Since like week 4 when I put him on nutramigen. If he’s constipated he will, but usually when he poops it’s during his bottle feed and he’ll usually just go quiet and concentrate as he lets it go 😄
