Places to make friends?

Tired of having no friends or noone to talk to. 
I want to meet new people but I know I'll just get a load of mouth from my partner saying "I don't need friends, I have him" but it gets lonely when he's at work and I have noone to talk to all day.

Anybody that tries to keep you isolated from any other humans be it family or friends is a controlling dbag. I would seriously reconsider the relationship if I were you. In the mean time look up park district activities, book clubs, meet up groups, volunteer activities, etc. to get you out of the house and meeting people with similar interests as yours.

First of all.. u need to make friends for ur own mental health.. u can not just rely on him.. that isn't healthy or natural.. what will happen if u break up or u need someone? If he doesnt like it so be it.. u need a life.. he is a controller so be careful.
