What can I do with this?

So my mama and I just moved into a new house and this was left in my room. I don’t know what it is but I didn’t want to throw it out when I can DIY it and make it into something to go into my room. I’m a teenager and my bedroom is purple black and silver. Any ideas on what I can make out of this. I was thinking spray painting it silver and making it into a TV stand and making that bottom part into a small shelf or something. Any ideas are welcome. Please and thank you. I don’t want to throw it away just yet

Sand it down, put a primer on it, paint it black, clear coat. Clean up the brick and paint it silver. 
I’d put a shelf or something in it, turn it into a book case or maybe some candles in it to have a unique fireplace?

i wouldn’t recommend spray painting this though it might come out splotchy since it’s a little old and needs a little fixing up

i wouldn’t throw it away!!!
 but it needs new wood paneling on the top/sides.  and maybe a fresh coat of paint. 
you can try black paint or you can refresh the wood paneling and staining it
 leave the brick open i think it’s nice and adds more to it
