Anyone want to share?

Question

Does anybody want to share their teen pregnancy story? (Only if you’re comfortable of course) I’m in my late teens and I am considering trying for a baby but I most likely will hold off until I’m 19 or so. I think it would help a lot if I heard from experienced mothers.

Well, here we go. I have a bf and me and him had been together for about a year and a half at the time that I got pregnant (New Years Eve). I was 13 and he was 16, I had to skip school for about 3 days because of morning sickness, mind you I didn’t know I was pregnant yet, my mom asked if there was anyway I could be pregnant, and ofc my stupid self lied and said no...a few weeks pass and I missed my period (not unusual for me) but I decided to take a test anyways. It came out positive...I thought hey maybe it was just a false p, so I took another...positive....and another....and another so I finally talked to my therapist about it and she said I could tell her with her around and I said okay why not but that night I went home and my mom and I had got in an argument and I finally grew the balls to show her the tests. She was not happy but not angry or anything she said she expected it and she has been supportive this whole pregnancy. Anyways February 25, 2019 I had a drs appointment...I got an ultrasound done and we found out I was 9 weeks pregnant WITH TWINS. I’m now 32 weeks and my babies are perfectly healthy and measuring at 37 weeks. At first they didn’t think they would make it bc they couldn’t find a membrane between the two but look at them now, so healthy and they have fat rolls😂 they don’t think I’ll make it 5 more weeks before I have them but that’s the last day I could wait because they are running out of room very quickly. It hasn’t been easy but life wasn’t meant to be easy or it would’ve came with a manual. Ive lost friends over this pregnancy bc they thought I was pathetic for getting pregnant at 14 even tho she did but lost her baby:(. My family is very supportive and that’s something that’s very important. I can’t say I’m not miserable cause I am but I will stay miserable as long as I need to for them to be healthy. I’m glad I’m gonna be able to run around and play with them rather than be old and cranky😂

Mine story isn't all that but I got pregnant in October last year, was on and off with her dad, had her in June of this year, my labor and delivery was 4 hours and 35 minutes, no pain, I was lucky, me and her dad are together again and he is going to the Navy, any kind if questions you want to know, just ask.

After a termination experience in March last year, I never felt the same. As October came round I found myself patiently waiting to see whether there was going to be a second line on that test and well it’s safe to say there was. My boyfriend (now fiancé) and I were happy and excited, of course I still had my doubts and worries, not forgetting guilt from my abortion. It’s safe to say I became fairly emotional once the hormones kicked in, not to mention through the whole pregnancy I worried about the worst happening, but that’s natural of course. 
July came around faster than I anticipated, my due date was the 7th but at 38 weeks I was trying absolutely everything to induce labour! I was so tired, so fed up. Lightening crotch was kicking in like crazy, (sharp pains down there) which was making me more than uncomfortable. By bang on 39 weeks the contractions began, by 39+1 at 11pm at night I was 2cm dilated, by 4am at 39+2 (2nd of July) I was 4cm and booked in at the hospital. My dilation progressed to 6cm by 2:45pm, my waters popped at 3:20pm and 10cm and ready to push at 4:00pm. 19minutes later, no pain relief and 8 hard pushes through, my baby girl was born. 7.2lbs and perfectly healthy — I was well and truly blessed. Motherhood over the past 5 weeks has been absolutely overwhelming, I’ve never been so tired in my life but I’ve had so many more happy moments over down days for sure. We all have our struggles as a teen mum, but at the end of the day what we do for our little ones is a wonderful and beautiful thing which not EVERYONE gets to experience. I’ll always tell young girls wanting babies to give it a couple of years but if you’re ready, fair play and be the best parent you could possibly be!❤️❤️❤️
