Please share your positive C-section stories!
I’m 38 weeks and my baby is breech, she has been my whole pregnancy. I have very low amniotic fluid so I’m not a good candidate for an ECV and none of the natural methods for encouraging baby to flip have worked so far. I have a c-section scheduled for 39 weeks (a week from tomorrow). The doctor offered to try an ECV in the OR before starting the section but I’m nervous about hurting the baby - what if she hasn’t flipped because the chord is around her neck? Can anyone share positive stories about planned csections? Where I live there is such a stigma against sections and I didn’t realize how much i had absorbed that. I delivered my first vaginally so I don’t feel like I’m “missing out” on that experience, but this whole thing is so different from how things went down with my first. I would love hear positive experiences with c-sections to help me embrace it reality. Thanks!
