Ovulation Day Ruptured Cyst Bleeding

Valerie

I feel dumb for asking but I've not had this before: if a cyst is big and ruptures (I tried to research online but never got clarity) is the internal fluid/bleeding like a period? Or is it in to your body cavity?

Friday was supposed to be my peak ovulation day. I woke up to EWCM yes and blood. But not pink...full on blood. I was cramping on one side and feeling like an emotional mess the whole time I'm getting ready for work and all day at work. I thought oh well maybe this a is a good egg throw and my body just is acting weird.

However it never let up. Thank god I have my own office, I was on the verge of crying all day. I just felt horrible physically and emotionally. I came home ate a bit and went to bed...still hurting crying bleeding and frustrated.

Saturday I woke up feeling dead. Hurting but not like cramps....it was different specifically the right ovary area and like someone relentlessly digging their finger into a bad bruise. I was still emotional af. Actually felt dazed and weak (which is not a usual feeling for me ever) Still bleeding I would say average and hurting like a mf. The DH helped massage the area and of course I took otc pain meds and the heating pad. I rested and tried not be a total baby all day but was largely unsuccessful. I had to pee so much. Like maybe something pressing g on my bladder. I guess I've been holding fluid.

It finally let up yesterday evening and I went with DH to walk the dogs still foggy but no longer feeling lime there was a demon with a blunt object pounding my ovary. Today I have willed my self to get up and do things. Still bleeding but my stomach has shrunk a bit and the pain is minimal. Plus I dont feel like bawling my eyes out. But I did break a sweat which makes me think maybe I had a low fever and didnt realize it.

Prior to this Ive been feeling bloated for a few months now but just thought I was being chubby and had gained some weight I couldnt shed. I had my regular 4 days normal flow periods and ovulation. But this time OW! Glow has been great at tracking as I do have PCOS, but have never been pregnant. I've been in here for at least 4 years. This has never happened before.

Would this be what happens when a bad cyst rupture occurs?
