This guys I’ve know for a number of years has said he’s into me and is always super flirty (we used to be just friends he had a long term gf a while back but they broke up almost two years ago now). On multiple occassions, he would say we should go to a movie tomorrow text me, hang out this weekend etc. One time he said his hand got hurt so he would make it up sometime but never set something else up. Another time, we were supposed to hang out so I texted him if he was still good and he never answered.

What do you think his deal is? This has been over the course of a year now since things went the flirty direction and he would say he really liked me. Is he just trying to keep me on the hook?
