Mucus plug

I’m 33 weeks and 5 days pregnant with my second child. All day today when I wiped it would be this sticky, long, jelly feeling stuff coming out. It was yellowish, clear. I didn’t worry too much but I just went and I am spotting red blood. It’s not much but I haven’t spotted at all this pregnancy so I was taken aback. I googled it and it sounds like I lost my mucus plug. Does this sound right? I didn’t remember losing my mucus plug with my first so I’m not really sure. How soon after losing the mucus plug did y’all go into labor?
