So I'm due August 11th and I had my mom and my two little siblings over for the summer. She was helping fix up the nursery and organize all the baby clothes. Today we took her to the hospital and found out she has the shingles. They told me I had to get out of the hospital and get away from her right away. I was devastated, they also said I need to call my OB. So we got home and started washing everything but now I'm concerned because I dont even know where to begin. The doctor in the hospital said to wash everything.

If anyone has advice or experience with people who had shingles please let me know
