Watching yourself give birth?

I had a vaginal birth with my first and they gave me an opportunity to watch her being born in a mirror. I politely declined lol. For those that HAVE watched that though, what was your experience? Would you recommend it? Trying to decide if I should take them up on the offer this time around.

Oh heck no lol. I dont wanna see what it looks like. I just want the end result: my beautiful baby! 
If I was meant to see it, my vagina would be located on my chest or something. Since it's not, I'm going to assume nature says dont look girl. Hahaha

I declined with my first, I was worried that my body would connect more with the pain if I could see it. But ive heard a lot of women say that watching helped them through pushing. I'm curious to see what others have to say as well! :)

I watched with my first and plan to ask for the mirror with my second. I highly recommend it. I wasn’t making any progress with my pushes until they broke out the mirror. Something about physically being able to see what progress you’re doing to know how to push. It helped significantly plus I loved getting to see him come into the world.

I didn’t see with my first , saw with my second . Let’s just say I won’t be looking with my third 😂
