In laws body shaming?

I don’t know if I should even be upset by this but, I’m 24 weeks along. My sis in law is 26 weeks. This is her 4th baby, meanwhile this is my first.

I don’t know a lot of Spanish and my in laws primarily speak Spanish, but the other day I noticed they kept mentioning me & saying “Gordita” while they call her “flaka”

now, I’ve noticed this a few times before but never really put two and two together. His mom always makes little comments how I look like I’m having twins, or I look like I’m about to give birth even tho I’m so early on.

I didn’t pay much mind to it until my hubby took his mom aside and I heard him telling her to stop comparing since we’re two diff women, two diff bodies.

Now I honestly feel so bad even going around them knowing they’re basically talking about how big I am for being only 24 weeks and how she’s still so tiny..
