It really depends on how outspoken they are about it and how often it would come up in the relationship.

It depends because sometimes political standpoints also reflect a person's perception of the world. Especially when it comes to social issues like abortion rights, same sex marriage, social services etc if you guys disagree on many things, I would wonder about your compatibility with other life decisions. But if you all are otherwise compatible then yes.

It depends on how passionate you are I guess...I think it will eventually come up when you have kids because politics have a lot to do with how you raise your children..I only know one couple who are on totally opposite sides of the spectrum with politics and it has become a small problem for them...Personally, I’m an independent, so it might be easier for someone like me to be with anyone on either side. But most people aren’t. I don’t think it’s a good idea.

Depends how they handle their political opinions. 
My partner and I are fairly divided on our political opinions.. but we aren't heavily political people and we just don't let it be a problem for us..

Maybe but only cause I don’t plan to talk politics with them all the time. It’s not my biggest concern but if that’s something that’s super important to you then there is a guy out there that would match every thing on your list of what you want in a guy, including politics :)

Think it depends on how respectful you can be to each other . My husband and I are on the same sode of the political views but doesn’t mean we always agree of the same things 🤷🏻‍♀️ same as many other aspects of our life but we can respectfully talk about things and either come to a agreement or agree to disagree

Depends. I'm not really into politics. I have my opinions, and I'll vote in the big elections, but I don't like talking politics and I don't like debates on them. If he's the same in that aspect, I'm sure we'll be fine. If he's outspoken, I'm not sure I could do it. Especially if he's one of those "anyone with a different opinion is wrong, stupid, and uneducated" people. It's on opinion for a reason, let other people have theirs.
