When to get your first ultrasound

Had a missed miscarriage in March 2018, was going in for 8 week scan and baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks (we saw the heart beat at 6 weeks, and a subchorionic hematoma).
This time around I'm a little anxious but don't want to rush the ultrasound. When should I book it for

I don’t do it until 20wks. An ultrasound isn’t going to stop a miscarriage so for me it’s needless worry. I only do the anatomy scan unless more testing becomes necessary due to concerns which I’ve never had. My first I let them over test me at the end and it  just caused anxiety and eventually hijacked my pregnancy so with my 3 consecutive pregnancies I’ve only done necessary testing.

Let them know about your missed mc and they will probably do an early ultrasound

When the place you go to recommends it. I would have had one around 8 weeks but I had been bleeding and was really worried lol.

I had 3 miscarriages but I refused to be seen early (well my dr wouldn’t do it early anyways 😂) mine was done at 9 weeks.

My first ultrasound won't be until 13 weeks.. Currently 11wks 4days & driving myself a little crazy. They wouldn't even check for a heartbeat at my first appointment saying it was too early to hear(I was 9 weeks). Cannot waittttt for piece of mind that baby is okay!
