Using box dye while pregnant

Can you use box dye while pregnant? I was wanting to bleach my hair and then color it red. I have never colored my hair before. Any tips/ suggestions. I cannot afford to go to the salon and have it professionally done right now either. My hair is dark brown.

Edit: So I went to Sallys and talked to a hair stylist who has been doing hair for 30 years she helped me pick out a color and then had me buy a bottle of developer that I mixed with the color. I have had it in for about 15 mins and it doesnt realky look any different, which I dont know if it would yet or not? No bleach is being used. Hopefully I get the color I want! I seriously needed a big change.

Edit: I did a very bad thing, I have an appointment with a professional thursday to correct my horrible mistake!
