Possible miscarriage

Hi, I’m having a hard time deciding what’s going on. I am currently 6 months pp from my first child. Friday, I finally resumed my period (i thought). Saturday morning I passed a larger than golf ball sized mass of grey tissue and blood. I had called my dr and she didn’t seem too concerned so I didn’t do go in or do any blood tests. There is a chance I could’ve been pregnant given my husband and I had unprotected sex 8 weeks ago. I’m still bleeding, but it hasn’t been excessive. I have cramps and am extremely emotional as well, which are common for me while menstruating. Im just curious. I’ve continued to pass small blood clots since then, but nothing near the size of the first one. I’m just not sure if I’m having a miscarriage, or if it’s just an extremely strange first period postpartum and was wondering if anyone had insight :(
