Are you trying to meet all the doctors in your practice or sticking with one?

Question

At first I thought I made sense to try and meet with all of them so I would know who was delivering my baby. Now that I’m thinking about it though how well am I going to get to know each doctor if I only meet with them 1-2 times and maybe I would rather just see the same one for the rest of the pregnancy and whoever is the one on call will just deliver my baby and I won’t really care. What is everyone else doing and what’s your reasoning? There are 10 doctors in my practice.

Ours requires you meet very doctor at least once, so you’re both familiar with each other. 
Once closer to delivery they let you know which doctors are on call (if you ask nicely like I do) so you can sort of anticipate who will be there.

There are 8 doctors at my clinic and we don’t have a choice but to rotate through them. They want the doctors to be at least a little familiar as well. Honestly I miss my regular OB. 😩

I picked my own doctor from the start,  that's stressful to rotate.  I need someone who knows me and familiar with that I go through.  Hate to reiterate that every appoinment.  Also what If they don't agree with each other about a diagnosis.

I met a few of them (4 out of the 6) throughout my pregnancy. I ended up liking one the best and chose to keep going to her. But I ended up having a different doc from the practice do my csection as it was emergent

There are three OBs at my practice but they all do their own deliveries as long as they aren’t on vacation. Nights, weekends, doesn’t matter (in theory).

I didn’t with my second and it was hard because I ended up with a total stranger.  My birth center now has us meet with every midwife at least once before delivery.

I only had one dr I met (out of 5 in clinic) and she didn’t even deliver my son because of timing. None from the clinic did. Just someone on call. 
This time I’ve seen the same dr so far but having a c section so he’ll deliver unless I someway go into labor on my own lol.

I had the choice of who I saw. There were only 3 midwives though & I think I saw each of them at least once or twice. 
I was lucky & got the midwife I met with most to deliver my little one!

This is what gives me anxiety about a big practice.  I don't want a stranger.  This is why I'm looking into midwives.
