GBS positive- anyone else?

Baby #4 and I’ve never tested positive before. 
Heartbroken because I was supposed to have a natural birth in the birth center but now I’m going to have to go to the hospital. 
Experiences with giving birth when GBS positive? I’m not at all familiar with this.

I tested positive as well this time and negative with my previous pregnancy. My doctor assured me that it’ll be fine and in my case it doesn’t change my birth plan very much. I’m sorry the birth center transferred your care. I’m sure it’ll be okay though. Maybe ask at the hospital beforehand if you can still follow the same basic idea as far as birth plan goes, with the exception of getting antibiotics during labor. My doctor said they can do a “push” instead of continuous IV, if you still want to labor in the tub/shower or move around  unencumbered.

That’s why I don’t even bother with labor centers. If something goes wrong I have little faith they can do anything.

They just put antibiotics through your IV. If your water breaks go in immediately. Other than that it's no different.

I just tested positive too- I was negative for my first birth which was quick! I’m worried about not getting full dose of antibiotics in time. 
 
It’s kinda stressing me out, but I’m trying to be mindful of my anxiety and take some deep breaths and relax. It seems fairly common.

I am . I gave birth today I didn’t get any antibiotics my labor was so fast. Everything is fine so far

I just delivered and was GBS positive. they just give you antibiotics throughout your delivery and keep you 48 hours to make sure you and baby are okay. so far we are doing just fine. don’t stress too much.
